Flights will be operated during the aviation summer season, which lasts until the end of October, twice per week \u2013 on Tuesdays and Saturdays.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Palanga Airport is growing rapidly \u2013 the flight offering is expanding, sought-after destinations are returning, and more and more opportunities are opening up for the residents of the region to travel from their home airport. It is gratifying to see the resumption of the flight between Palanga and Bergen \u2013 this is important news for the residents of the seaside and other cities of Western Lithuania, such as Plung\u0117, Tel\u0161iai, \u0160ilut\u0117 or Ma\u017eeikiai, who will again have direct links with the west coast of Norway&#8221;, says Roderikas \u017diobakas, Lithuania\u2019s Vice-Minister of Transport and Communications.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are excited to launch the new route between Palanga and Bergen! This connection opens the door to new opportunities, closer cooperation, and even more reasons to experience everything Bergen and the Palanga region have to offer. With Bergen becoming Norwegian\u2019s second direct route from Palanga alongside Oslo, Western Lithuania&#8217;s connectivity with Norway will be more frequent and convenient than ever. I believe this will also become a great opportunity for foreign tourists to get to know the Lithuanian seaside&#8221;, says Simonas Bartkus, CEO at Lithuanian Airports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bergen is Norway&#8217;s second largest city, famous for its unique landscape, fjords, UNESCO World Heritage-listed architecture and cultural traditions. It is an important economic and transport hub of the region and a popular destination among travellers from all over Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Norwegian also operates regular flights from Palanga Airport to the Norwegian capital Oslo. Flight tickets for both routes are sold on the airline&#8217;s official website\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.norwegian.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>www.norwegian.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the record year of 2025, Palanga Airport served almost 448.4 thousand passengers &#8211; 18.7% more than in 2024.
